Just based on looks alone the 2021 Kia Sorento is one of the most appealing vehicles on the market. The Sorento received a major facelift for the 2021 model year and its bold new grille and sculpted exterior are something you won't want to take your eyes off of.
Along with its updated design, the 2021 Kia Sorento is also offering something that we’ve never seen in a Sorento before –hybrid powertrains. Not only is the 2021 Sorento offering a traditional gas-powered option with the standard 2.5-liter Turbo-4 engine, but also a hybrid powertrain as well as a plug-in hybrid variant. The competing 2020 Nissan Pathfinder limits shoppers to just gasoline-powered options and comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine beneath the hood.
A major selling point for the 2021 Sorento, and something the 2020 Pathfinder can’t compete with, is the upgraded infotainment center. Both of these models feature a standard 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. The Kia Sorento, however, offers shoppers an upgrade with a 10.3-inch display on top of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Additional tech upgrades to the 2021 Kia Sorento include mood lighting, an ambient sound marker, a 12-speaker Bose® sound system, and a head-up display.
