2021 Kia Sorento Outdoes Itself and the Competition
Even before its debut, the 2021 Kia Sorento has been making a buzz. With its new sculpted look and chiseled exterior, the 2021 Sorento is one of the most appealing vehicles to come from the Kia brand. The 2021 model year marks a new generation of the Kia Sorento and with it the Sorento has received a complete overhaul. Fit with a new and bolder grille, deep exterior design lines, and crisp new features, the 2021 Kia Sorento has outdone itself.
For the first time ever, the Kia Sorento is bringing hybrid powertrains to its lineup. The 2021 Sorento comes standard with a 2.5-liter turbo-4 engine paired to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, but shoppers are now able to opt for an eco-friendly hybrid alternative. The competing 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe is fitted with a standard 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine and produces less standard power than the 2021 Sorento.
Kia is known for including some of the best entertainment and safety features in its vehicles and the 2021 Sorento is no exception. This Kia SUV comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen display or can be fitted with a massive 10.3-inch screen. The technology in the competing 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe falls short of the Sorento, offering a smaller 7-inch standard screen or an available 8-inch alternative.
