In this 2021 Kia Sorento vs 2020 Honda CR-V comparison, we are going to take a look at how the upcoming Sorento compares to one of its longstanding competitors. 2021 Kia Sorento Continues to Outweigh Competition

The 2021 Kia Sorento has drawn attention since rumors of its redesign first started circulating. The 2021 Sorento hit the scene with a sculpted and chiseled exterior, luxury-inspired cabin, and an updated tech suite. With such a revamped look and feel, customers are wondering how the latest Kia SUV stacks up against the competition.

Beneath the hood of the 2021 Kia Sorento is a base 2.5-liter Turbo-4 engine with 277 horsepower on tap. For the first time ever the Sorento lineup is offering a variety of hybrid model options in its mix, expanding its fan base even further. The competing 2020 CR-V is fitted with a 1.5T engine with 190 horsepower lined up. Like the Sorento, the CR-V also offers an alternative fuel option in its mix but limits shoppers to just one hybrid option.

The tech-forward cabin in the 2021 Sorento more than outweighs that of the 2020 Honda CR-V. The Sorento comes equipped with a standard 8-inch touchscreen infotainment center with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. The competing CR-V offers these connectivity options in only select trims equipped with the available 7-inch Display Audio system. The standard 5-inch LCD screen the CR-V offers does not allow for Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™.
