K5 Offers Luxury-Level Style on a Mass-Market Budget
We keep saying that the Kia K5 offers Tampa shoppers a mass-market price, but we haven’t yet said what that price is. The 2021 Kia K5 lineup – LX, LXS, GT-Line, EX, and GT – starts off at a manufacturer suggested retail price of $23,490. This budget-friendly MSRP allows shoppers to get all of the high-end features and options they crave, at a price they can afford.
Looking at the 2021 K5 against the 2020 Passat on paper, the Kia stands far above what the VW model can offer. The K5 comes fitted with a more powerful engine, offering more standard horsepower than what the Passat delivers. The 2021 K5 also brings an available 2.5-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine into the mix, which comes fitted in the K5 GT. This engine produces adrenaline-pumping power rated at 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The competing Passat does not offer shoppers any alternative engine options.
When shoppers choose the K5 from Friendly Kia not only are they getting one of the most powerful mid-size sedans available, but they are getting a tech-filled supercar. A standard 8.0-inch touchscreen sits in the vehicle’s center stack with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. A larger 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation is available in select K5 models.
Kia Drive Wise also comes standard in the Kia K5, protecting and assisting drivers with features such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Following Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, and more.
