When is Kia Releasing New Electric Models?
Months ago, Kia announced a ‘Plan S’strategy to launch 11 all-new electrified models worldwide by 2026. Kia ‘Plan S’ EV Anticipated Release Dates
The first three new all-electric Kia models proposed by ‘Plan S’ are expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships in early 2022. As of June 2021, only one has been revealed: the 2022 Kia EV6. The rest of the new EVs are expected to follow the same naming convention, using the “EV” designation followed by a number that indicates the car’s position in the lineup.

Meet the All-New 2022 Kia EV6
The 2022 Kia EV6 will launch as the brand’s first dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV). It’s a small crossover that targets an impressive 300-mile driving range paired with fast charging capability for game-changing convenience. An early look at the technology package reveals an augmented-reality heads-up display, panoramic dual 12-inch cluster and infotainment screens, and wireless smartphone charging.
