2022 Kia Carnival Offers Segment-Exclusive Blind-Spot View Monitor

What Is the Blind-Spot View Monitor in the Kia Carnival?

We trust that you’re a vigilant driver, but even 20/20 vision and quick reflexes won’t guarantee protection against all the unexpected hazards you might encounter on the road. That’s why Kia has remained dedicated to providing a broad range of standard and available driver assists on every vehicle in the lineup. This year, the all-new 2022 Kia Carnival arrives at Friendly Kia with a segment-exclusive Blind-Spot View Monitor feature that makes it easier to keep tabs on your surroundings. Here’s how it works:

Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) projects a live video view of your vehicle’s blind-spot zone in the instrument cluster whenever you activate your turn signal. Here’s how to activate/deactivate Blind-Spot View Monitor in your Kia:

  1. Hit the Mode button on your steering wheel.
  2. Select Driver Assistance, then Blind Spot Safety.
  3. Select Blind Spot View to activate.

This video from Kia offers a visual guide to understanding how the Blind-Spot View Monitor works.
