Kia Plan S Brings Electric Vehicles and New Logo
As we’ve seen this year, Kia has already begun one part of Plan S, which was to bring in a broader range of electric vehicles. A part of Plan S is to expand the lineup of electric vehicles to 11 by 2025 and the addition of the 2021 Kia Sorento Hybrid is just the start.
The brand’s new logo was revealed and confirmed back in February and it is set to make its full debut on an upcoming vehicle next year. The modernized look of the new logo is a step away from the traditional oval logo and a step away from the iconic Kia red.
Along with bringing in a new logo, here are some other key goals the Kia brand’s Plan S aims to achieve:
- Offer 11 electric vehicles by 2025
- Have 25% of the brand’s sales come from eco-friendly vehicle lineup by end of 2025
- Have an annual global sales target of 1 million eco-friendly vehicles and 500,000 EVs by 2026
- Expand mobility services and products
