Next-Generation Kia Sorento Models Hit Dealership Lots 

After months of anticipation building, the 2021 Kia Sorento finally arrived on dealership lots and shoppers across the country flocked to get behind the wheel. The Sorento joined the Friendly Kia showroom in mid-November and it has been a hot commodity since its arrival. The next-generation Sorento brings a completely new look for 2021 along with an updated range of powertrain options, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.

2021 Kia Telluride Earns Spot on Car and Driver 10Best for 2021 List 

For the second year in a row, the Kia brand’s popular full-size SUV claimed a spot on the Car and Driver 10Best list for 2021. Earning a spot for the second consecutive year showcases the Kia Telluride SUV’s ability to maintain popularity among its class by bringing the latest style and technology to the market along with a powerful performance and fun-to-drive attitude. The Kia Telluride is in its second model year on the market and continues to be a top performer here at Friendly Kia near Tampa Bay.

Kia Showcases Rugged Sorento X-Line Concept Models 

To bring even more buzz to the Sorento name Kia showcased two rugged Sorento concept models built on the adventure-set Sorento X-Line. The custom-built Yosemite Edition and Zion Edition Sorento models were revealed during a Kia brand virtual meeting. Both custom concept vehicles showcase the capability of the new Sorento models and encourage owners to think outside of the box when accessorizing their new SUV. The two models were customized by LGE-CTS Motorsports of San Dimas, CA, and inspired by the outdoor environments of two of America’s national parks.

Kia Motors Awards 16 Students with The Great Unknowns Scholarship 

The Kia brand announced the recipients of this year’s The Great Unknowns Scholarship this November, marking the second year of scholarship offers. Kia chose 16 students to receive the scholarship funds, bringing the total number of recipients to 32. The Great Unknowns Scholarship brings yearly financial assistance to students who embody the Kia brand’s “Give It Everything” philosophy.
