Kia Driver Assistance Smart Park Features
Many automotive brands these days are expanding their lineups of driver assistance and safety features to make daily driving that much easier. One area of driver assistance many are working towards is smart parking and parking assistance. The Kia brand’s Kia Drive Wise suite of safety systems comes with a variety of parking assistance features, including Parking Distance Warning and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, but so far no smart park options in the U.S.
Previously, Kia driver assistance smart park features have only been available in markets outside of the U.S. – until now. Kia is bringing in more than just a smart park feature to the upcoming 2022 Kia EV6, soon to arrive at Friendly Kia in New Port Richey, it’s bringing Remote Smart Parking Assist. The all-electric Kia EV6 will be the first U.S. Kia model to feature a smart park safety feature and you can get all the details below.

Kia Remote Smart Parking Assist
The 2022 Kia EV6 is set to offering some of the latest safety and convenience features in its lineup of driver assistance systems. One of the most anticipated features is Remote Smart Parking Assist, a feature that we have yet to see in a U.S. Kia model.
Remote Smart Parking Assist will allow drivers to remotely park their EV6 or exit a parking spot from outside of the vehicle using just the vehicle’s key fob. The feature makes navigating tight parking spots and crowded lots easy.
