Kia NVIDIA DRIVE Technology

NVIDIA is a global leader in accelerated computing, and it has teamed up with the Hyundai Motor Group to equip Kia, Hyundai, and Genesis vehicles with its technology. Starting in 2022, an in-vehicle infotainment system powered by NVIDIA DRIVE will be standard in every Kia model. This system combines both hardware and software to implement connectivity, audio, video, navigation, and artificial intelligence-based services into Kia vehicles.

“NVIDIA brought consumer electronic functionality and a graphics-rich user interface to infotainment systems more than a decade ago,” said Ali Kani, Vice President of Autonomous Vehicles at NVIDIA. “Now, we are once again transforming these systems through the power of AI, helping Hyundai Motor Group increase safety and value, along with enhancing customer satisfaction, throughout the lifetime of the vehicle.”

By bringing this software into every future Kia model, the brand can therefore be able to seamlessly offer and enhance the in-vehicle experience for drivers. This is a major move by the Kia brand and enthusiasts can expect to see more updates and insights on the NVIDIA DRIVE system in the future.
