Romeo & Juliet in America (The One With The Happy Ending)

Williams Park, 350 2nd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 

“This bold and modern retelling of Shakespeare’s most romantic tragedy imagines how two young lovers, caught in the middle of their feuding families, might meet a different fate.” 

American Stage continues their Reimagine season with “Romeo & Juliet in America (The One With The Happy Ending)” showing now through August 1 at Williams Park. This week only, the show will feature “Pay What You Can” pricing for all 50 tickets sold each night. Showgoers under 20 years old enjoy free admission all nights as part of American Stage’s ongoing accessibility and Next Generation initiatives. The show will include material that is intended for ages 12 and up. Those interested can find information on showtimes and how to order tickets online on the event page on the American Stage website.

PAVA’s Annual Cool Art Show Returns to the Coliseum 

Saturday, July 24, 2021 | 10:00 AM – 5:00PM  
Sunday, July 25, 2021 | 10:00 AM – 4:00PM 

St. Petersburg Coliseum, 535 4th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 

The 32nd Annual Cool Art Show returns to the historic St. Petersburg Coliseum for a weekend dedicated to showcasing the best of fine art and fine craft from some of the area’s premier artists. This event is hosted by the Professional Association of Visual Artists (PAVA). Admission and parking are free. Food and beverage concessions will be open, including beer and wine. You can visit the event page on the PAVA website for more event information.
