Blake Griffin 2016 Kia Optima Weatherman Commercial
We count on meteorologists to provide us with what kind of weather we can expect over the course of the day, or even the week. We rely on them so much at times that when they miss their predictions we might wind up wearing shorts on a cold day or a rain coat in a drought. You’ll probably still tune in again to see what they say about that storm front that may or may not be coming in, but each time they whiff on the weather, it eats away at your confidence.
We want certainty in life. So when it comes to predicting the weather and living up to promises, look no further than the 2016 Kia Optima, the mid-size sedan that has everything you want in a mid-size – and more. Blake Griffin illustrates this beautifully and hilariously, once again, in a 2016 Kia Optima commercial where he plays weatherman. Read the rest of this entry

2016 Kia Optima Peanut Butter Jelly Commercial Blake Griffin
Blake Griffin is as good at making funny commercials as he is at rebounding and dunking the basketball for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA. Which is to say, he’s very good. The second TV ad in the 2016 Kia Optima campaign featuring Griffin continues the theme of being “In the Zone.” The first commercial showed him calmly reading a newspaper while a startled person arrives with a 2016 Optima in the cloud-filled, dream-like “Zone.” This new commercial shows Griffin making a perfect peanut butter and jelly sandwich while a new arrival to the “Zone” learns the funny details of just how ideal the peanut butter to jelly ratio is.
Basically, the NBA Peanut Butter and Jelly Commercial with Blake Griffin for the 2016 Kia Optima is proof that the campaign is picking up steam and continuing to make us laugh while we get to admire the Optima’s bold styling, loaded features and great gas mileage. Read the rest of this entry

Kia Optima Father-Son Road Trip NFL Commercial
On a day when rookie Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston was busy tearing up the New Orleans Saints for two touchdowns in his first pro win on Sept. 20, you might have noticed the NFL and Kia are now partners.
How did this happen, you ask? During the offseason, Hyundai and Kia secured the rights to be an official sponsor of the NFL, as the longstanding contract General Motors had with the league had expired.
Which should lead to a lot more of the fun Kia commercials we’ve come to know and love. One of the latest examples, and one from this weekend’s NFL broadcasts, depicts a father getting a little jealous over his son quitting his job and selling his possessions so he can buy a new car and drive it across the country. Skinny Hamsters 2016 Kia Soul
Skinny Elvis or Fat Elvis? Which is better – the vigorous hip-gyrating “Blue Suede Shoes” dude or the portly, soulful man who belted out “Suspicious Minds” while sporting a rapidly expanding belt? Big or small – it’s the age-old question. One that gained a new entrant in 2013 when the famous Kia Soul hamsters appeared skinnier than ever during an ad for the 2014 Kia Soul.
In the years since, while many of us have worried about highway miles per gallon or towing capacity, the chosen few have wondered what is better for Kia Soul sales: The chunky, clunky hamsters of old, or will skinny hamsters be hawking the 2016 Kia Soul?
Opinions have been mixed among advertising rodent-followers: Some prefer that the hamsters look leaner and healthier since it promotes a healthier lifestyle, while some like the positive body image the larger versions presented. Read the rest of this entry
