Are Sedans on Their Way Out?
These days it seems like more and more automakers are straying away from the sedan market as the demand for crossovers and SUVs continues to rise. Kia Sedans Continue in Popularity
As other automakers discontinue a majority of the sedans in their lineups, the Kia brand is making waves by introducing all-new model options to its lineup. The latest sedan to join the Kia lineup was the Kia K5, which took place of the outgoing Kia Optima.
The 2021 Kia K5 made a major impact when it took over for the Optima in the Kia lineup. The K5 brings elegant luxury for a mass-market price, offering shoppers a more budget-minded alternative to the lineup-topping Kia K900. With a new K5 sedan having joined the Kia lineup just a year ago, some may be thinking that Kia will take a pause with new sedans, but in classic Kia fashion that isn’t the case.
New 2022 Kia Sedans Are Coming
Even more new Kia sedans are coming and they are set to join the 2022 Kia model lineup. All eyes are on the upcoming 2022 Kia K8, which is set to take the place of the current Kia Cadenza. The K8 will be the first K8 model ever in any automotive market, making this all-new sedan one to watch out for.
