Apple Invests in Kia to Build Electric Apple Car

We aren’t sure just yet, but what we do know is that Apple is set to collaborate with Kia and invest $3.6 billion into the brand.

Apple and Kia Launch in 2024
According to Korean media outlet reports, the collaboration is expected to be set in stone on February 17. The collab’s tentative timeline sets the Apple Car’s first launch in 2024 with an anticipated 100,000 vehicles produced each year to start.
Apple’s $3.6 billion investment will be used to build exclusive production facilities, giving the Apple Car its own production plant.
What to Expect from the Kia Apple Car
Apple analysts revealed some possible specs for the high-performance version of the electric Apple Car to get consumers excited about what is to come. The Apple Car will reportedly offer 60 miles of range on just five minutes of charge and more than 300 miles of range on a full battery. Drivers can expect to hit a top speed of 160 mph in the Apple Car and go from a standstill to 60 mph in under 3.5 seconds. It is anticipated that there will be a standard Apple Car and a high-performance Apple Car variation.
