2020 Kia Niro Vs. 2019 Kia Niro
Sometimes under the radar is the best place to be.
Although the Kia Niro is a vehicle that in many ways bests class mainstays like the Toyota Prius, it’s beauty and elegance have been in its lack of ostentatious body styling or bright neon coloring. It’s a hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric vehicle that doesn’t want to scream about eco-friendly it is. We respect that.
That said, it has a few surprises up its sleeve in the form of an incredibly-well-outfitted interior experience and, with the release of the 2020 iteration, some new sporty style.
The 2020 Kia Niro is a facelifted experience that brings new technology and some great styling to the high-MPG or MPGe model.

So, what exactly is different on the 2020 Kia Niro?
Let’s find out!
2020 Kia Niro Changes Vs. 2019 Kia Niro
The biggest changes to the Kia Niro are found in the refined crossover’s exterior styling. For 2020, the Kia Niro receives an updated fascia that features brand-new headlights, a new grille and new wheel options as well. These elements bring the 2020 Kia Niro toward the design of the 2020 Kia Niro EV that was announced this last year.
Additionally, the 2020 Kia Niro has updated technology including a new and re-styled dashboard that incorporates the standard 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. That infotainment system can be upgraded to an 8-inch touchscreen or a gigantic 10.25-inch touchscreen with Harman/Kardon® premium audio.
