2019 State of the Dealership Address Transcript
My fellow Tampa Baybes (help us get this to catch on!), we’re here today to discuss the year that has passed and how it has affected your Friendly, neighborhood Kia dealership.
As you know, 2018 was a big year in the automotive world and Kia’s growing corner of such. Last year, Kia confirmed a prediction we had made that the Kia Telluride concept SUV would see the light of day as a production model ready to take our families, things and gear places other SUVs can’t go and do so in luxurious style.
Additionally, the end of last year saw our first glimpses of the 2020 Kia Soul, a model that seeks to carry on the award-winning heritage of the second-generation Soul and add brand-new sporty styling, updated trim levels and new standard features to the subcompact crossover model.

Here at Friendly Kia, our own state was that of eager anticipation and growth. In 2018, Friendly Kia spent five months as the number-1 dealership in the entire Southern Region among Kia dealers. Having always built ourselves on the truth that customer satisfaction is the backbone of sales, we also received high honors in the form of invitation into Kia Motors America Presidents Club.
Limited to only thirty dealerships nationwide, this distinct honor recognizes the best Kia dealers with regards to customer satisfaction and, consequently, sales.
We join this alliance with humility and gratitude, knowing that few Kia dealers exist within such a vibrant and welcoming community. As we have always said, it’s our clientele and customers that make us great and worthy of recognition like inclusion in the Kia Motors America Presidents Club.
Beyond simply being Tampa Bay’s only dealership in the Kia Motors America Presidents Club, we spent 2018 continuing to offer the lowest prices and the highest inventory in the greater Tampa Bay region. For transparency, our staff has published a page you can view with bi-weekly updates comparing our dealership to its competition in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, Brandon and Wesley Chapel.
To conclude, we’d like to invite every member of the Tampa Bay community to stop by at some point. Bring your pets. Friendly Kia is, has always been and will always be a dog-friendly Kia dealership. Whether you’re looking for an affordable and feature-packed vehicle that’s backed by an industry-best warranty, want to experience the award-winning customer service from our service and parts department or simply want to try some of Tampa Bay’s most mediocre coffee in our warm and inviting waiting room, we’d love to host you.
The state of Friendly Kia is strong.
