2017 Kia Cadenza Release Details
One of the nation’s largest auto exhibitions is set to begin at the New York International Auto Show, which will run from March 25-April 3. Kia will have a presence there, and as there tends to be at most major car shows, there may even be a tremendous scoop or two for our beloved brand.
You can’t take this prediction to the bank just yet, but we have a very strong feeling the 2017 Kia Cadenza will be unveiled in New York, which will give us much-needed details about its release date later in the year.
What to Expect at the 2016 New York Auto Show
This epic auto show will have plenty of models for you to look at and take a seat in, along with a large amount of family-centric activities and models to pick from, like the truck from the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie (cowabunga, dude!) and a replica of the magical car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Here’s where you can find Kia’s exhibition spaces:
- Booth CA5 on level one
- Booth 402 on level three
- Booth CP8 in the Crystal Palace
2017 Kia Cadenza Release Date, Features
And what will you find at these exhibitions? Besides some of the other amazing vehicles that are being rolled out this year and have already seen a debut at auto shows, like the Kia Niro Hybrid and the Kia Optima Plug-In Hybrid, it’s the ideal time to show off the 2017 Kia Cadenza, a premium sedan with power and comforts to spare. There’s been plenty of buzz and advance images of the sedan, known as K7 in South Korea, but what will the specs be when this car is released? Here’s a still-somewhat-tentative look:
- Redesigned exterior with a futuristic feel, thanks to a prominent geometric front, LED headlights and daytime running lights.
- Expanded interior (2016 models have an already-spacious 106.8 cubic feet for passengers).
- 365 HP models available with a 3.3-liter V6 engine.
That’s a general look at the sedan that is already turning heads in 2016 models. Stay tuned to the blog here for additional updates as the 2017 Cadenza makes more appearances at shows and eventually lands on our lot at Friendly Kia. And feast your eyes on some early images of the 2017 Cadenza below.
