2017 Kia Cadenza Release Details Improvements and Redesign
When a young Will Smith said “Parents Just Don’t Understand” in the 1988 hit rap song, he was talking about how an older generation didn’t know how hard he had it, back when he was still a teenager. In the case of the Kia Cadenza, the second generation of this large premium sedan is being born for the 2017 model year, so we can say in a way that the previous years’ models are the parents of the upcoming Cadenza model, and though the “parents” will surely try, they may not fully understand how amazing their “kids” – the 2017 models are.
While the 2017 Kia Cadenza will surely dazzle with its redesign, it also will sport improvements in other areas. So let’s get down to it and look at details of its release.
So What’s New With the 2017 Cadenza?
The 2017 Cadenza will have plenty of cool new features, both inside and out.
- Updated V6 engine, retuned to get better MPG – 290 HP, which nets 20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway.
- Exterior more than 50 percent Advanced High Strength Steel (2016 Cadenza was about half this figure).
- New standard 18-inch alloy wheels.
- Larger brake rotors.
- 3D printed components added to increase driver engagement.
- Door panels get new soft-touch material.
- New Dark Brown Leather interior color option.
- Driver’s seat cushion extension system for enhanced comfort.
