2017 Kia Cadenza Forte Niro Sorento Soul J.D. Power Initial Quality Study Results
When you think of the most authoritative voices about cars, what group or publication comes to mind? J.D. Power should come in at or near the top of the list, as the research company annually compiles the findings of new vehicle owners and lessees and sees which vehicles are reported to have the fewest problems. For 2017, the survey pool was about 80,000 new vehicle owners and their responses about the number of issues within the first 90 days of 2017 model year cars comprised the latest annual J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (aka IQS).
We have some great news for you: For the second year in a row, Kia vehicles ranked with the fewest issues in the first 90 days among all mainstream auto brands. And while last year two Kia models led their segment, the 2016 Soul and 2016 Sportage, this year, five Kia models led their segment, including the 2017 Forte compact and 2017 Niro hybrid crossover. Read on to see all of the Kia models that were highest-ranked in the IQS, after the break!
Highest-Ranked Kia Vehicles in the 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study
Not only did five Kia models rank highest in their category, but all seven of the Kia models that qualified for the annual J.D. Power study were either first or second in their vehicle segment.
