Tampa FL USFL Team Where Are They Now
We’re not afraid to admit we’ve got playoff fever. Well, maybe’s it’s just the usual football fever, spiked with excitement over the improvement the Tampa Bay Buccaneers showed in the 2015 season. There’s few things as exciting as watching a football team grow together and do the little things right, whether it’s passing, running or punting.
The Bucs don’t have a monopoly on good football in these parts, however; back in the 1980s, the USFL fought against the NFL for pigskin supremacy and one of its flagship franchises was the Tampa Bay Bandits. The team was wild and unpredictable, and beloved, with a young Steve Spurrier as coach, 35 wins in three seasons, and even Burt Reynolds as a co-owner.
