Kia UVO eServices Features and Benefits
When you hear the word “infotainment,” images of salespeople slinging knives or blenders – or knives that can cut through blenders – on late night TV might come to mind. Since the word means “to entertain and inform,” those kinds of commercials can qualify, at least technically. But we’re here today to say when you hear “infotainment” and “Kia” you should associate it with the helpful (and fun) UVO eServices tech.
UVO has been around for a while, but for those of you who either haven’t heard of it or are considering buying a Kia vehicle, then we’ve got the cure for what ails you. Read on to see the features and benefits of Kia’s UVO eServices. Read the rest of this entry
Kia Future Concept Vehicles SEMA Show
Picture it: A genius leans over a table, plugs some cords into the wall, and flips a switch. Notes are taken, observations made, as the thing that is attached to all of this power flickers into existence.
If you thought we were talking about the birth of a car you wouldn’t be alone, but we were thinking more along the lines of Frankenstein’s monster. We’re not saying that cars start scaring people once you turn the key, but that it takes a great deal of know-how and effort to make a great vehicle. And in the spirt of discovery and cool new cars, we’d like to take a look at a lineup of Kia future concept vehicles set to appear at the SEMA auto show in Las Vegas. The annual event kicks off November 3. Read the rest of this entry
2016 Kia Optima Release Blake Griffin TV Commercials
It was amazing. Hopefully you’ve seen it. It’s that moment where Blake Griffin dunked over a Kia Optima in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game and basically won the dunk contest because of it. It’s an athletic feat that is hard to replicate, even in a video game, and the esteemed Kia pitchman made it look easy.
Well, Blake is back, and there’s three very big reasons for that: The NBA regular season tips off this month, the 2016 Kia Optima is set to be on dealership lots in the coming weeks, and Blake is once again doing a series of fun ads for the Optima.
Read on and we’ll look at the 2016 Kia Optima TV commercials Blake Griffin will be starring in. Read the rest of this entry
Kia Consumer Reports Reliability Score
When you think of Maytag commercials, you might recall a repairman sitting alone, waiting for the phone to ring. He waited so long between calls because the Maytag appliances were so reliable, is what the commercials were saying. What was good for the customer was what made that guy a little bored.
“Reliable” is sometimes mistaken for boring, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. When athletes are called “Mr. (or Mrs.) Reliable,” usually it’s because they nail field goals in the waning seconds of games with regularity, or because they consistently make clutch shots in basketball, and that’s the opposite of boring.
Well, Kia just drilled it through the uprights, because the just-released Consumer Reports annual report on auto reliability ranks Kia sixth among all vehicle manufacturers, landing it in the desirable “Most Reliable” category. Read the rest of this entry
John Gilliss Boomerz Magazine Cover New Port Richey FL
When you think of Baby Boomers (born between around 1945 and 1964), it’s natural to associate them with people and events that were big in the 1960s: The Beatles, TV shows like “Laugh-In,” Woodstock. But Boomers have remained vibrant for several decades because of their cultural relevance, social influence, and their sheer numbers. It’s hard to ignore their impact, nor do we want to.
Well, Florida is home to a large number of Boomers who like the warm climate and the advantages of living near water. Friendly Kia is right in the thick of the action in New Port Richey, run by none other than owner John Gilliss, who was featured on the October cover of Boomerz magazine. The magazine is, unsurprisingly, primarily meant for Baby Boomers, and the feature article on page nine is about Gilliss’ business approach. Read the rest of this entry
Kia Sorento Turbo or V6 Engine Models
Have you ever wondered what the fuss over V6 engines is? It can be confusing to know how every engine type works when there’s options like the 4-cylinder, inline 4-cylinder, V6, V8, and so on, in various sizes that sound as likely to be a soda container at the grocery store as what powers your vehicle.
As for the V6, it’s not the largest engine available, but it’s larger than what you’ll find in a compact or the typical mid-size sedan. When you have a vehicle with a V6, you’ve probably got a larger vehicle: A luxury sedan, crossover, SUV, truck, etc. We’re going to do a comparison on the strengths and weaknesses of 2016 Kia Sorento models that have turbocharged engines compared to V6 engines. Then we’ll give you details on what other Kias have these two types of engines. Read the rest of this entry

Kia Cadenza vs. Tony Danza vs. George Costanza vs. Pizza
Lead singers for bands put it best when they ask the crowd, “are you ready to rock?” Why do we say this? Because the Kia Cadenza is a bad mama-jama, and it rocks, and we’ve stated before it’s the best thing to hit the “ends with -za” world since pizza. But the real question is, does it beat pizza?
Let’s take a closer look at the 2015 Kia Cadenza. It recently won Autopacific’s Ideal Vehicle Award in the large car class, with winners chosen through an objective survey that gauged how satisfied new owners were with the Cadenza. Plus, the Cadenza has a V6 engine with a robust 293 horsepower and a 12-speaker stereo system that is sure to please audiophiles who like the finer things in life. The best part yet is the 2015 Kia Cadenza is available for less than $300/month through early November at Friendly Kia. Read the rest of this entry
2015 Kia Soul 2016 Kia Forte Lease Promotion Spring Hill FL
It’s nice to have one hundred dollars in your wallet, but it just doesn’t go as far as it used to. When Woolworth’s five-cent store opened in 1878, a hundred could have bought you darn near the whole store, but now it feels like that’s barely enough to cover a monthly cable bill.
Automakers aren’t immune to this phenomenon, either; as prices rise, cars become a little more expensive as well. Which is why it’s rare to find a new vehicle available for less than $100 today. But Friendly Kia in New Port Richey, Florida, has a number of quality vehicles that can be yours for that paltry sum.
Read on for more details on the 2015 Kia Soul and 2016 Kia Forte lease promotion in the New Port Richey and Spring Hill FL area.

2015 Kia Optima Hybrid Features and Benefits
Cameron Diaz and Rebecca Romijn are both models-turned-actresses, so you can call them hybrids and no one will think you’re a weirdo. Ditto for Shaquille O’Neal, who parlayed his fame as a dominant big man in the NBA into a burgeoning rap and movie career in the 1990s. Say what you will about O’Neal’s “Kazaam” or his time spent with the Fu-Schnickens, but the athlete/actor/rapper was the very definition of what a hybrid was in 1996.
How times have changed. In 2015, hybrid vehicles (combination gas/battery-powered engines) are on the road in increasing numbers, including the 2015 Kia Optima Hybrid. These hybrids provide several benefits. Read the rest of this entry
