2007 Kia Optima vs 2020 Kia Optima
We’re adding a new series to the Friendly Kia blog and it’s a little something we like to call “Then and Now.” In today’s day of social media, there is nothing that gets more of a giggle out of users than looking at how various products and brands have changed over the years. Whether it’s for #WaybackWednesday, #ThrowbackThursday, or #FlashbackFriday, there’s something nostalgic about looking back on previous generations of products.
In the very first edition of Friendly Kia’s Then and Now series we are looking at the Kia Optima. Given that the Optima is set to get an upgrade in the next year, we thought it was only fitting to feature the beloved Optima first. As it often goes with the internet and social media, we couldn’t get our hands on images of the very first Optima models, but we did snag some images of the oldest model year we could find. So, let’s dive in! Here’s a look at the Kia Optima in 2007 vs 2020.

It’s crazy to see how much the Optima has changed between 2007 and 2020. Going from a rounded small car to a structured and sculpted sedan, the Optima has never looked better.
