Advantages of 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid
If you’ve ever seen the movie “Napoleon Dynamite,” then you’re familiar with the “Liger,” a lion-tiger hybrid that the main character Napoleon drew. You might think it’s a pipe dream that the Liger even exists, as well as exotic breeds like the “Zonkey,” a zebra-donkey mix, and you would probably be right, but the good news is there are plenty of hybrids that naturally occur in the wild, and we have tamed them and brought them to the dealership lot where they can do the most good. Two such exotic beasts are the 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid and the 2017 Kia Optima Plug-In Hybrid, both due on lots in 2016. We’ll line them up and see what the advantages of each style of hybrid are.
Advantages of 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid Models
Summary of Benefits of Each Hybrid
While both of these cars have the sport styling of the Kia Optima sedan, they also have features all their own.
- The 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid will be on the lot in the summer of 2016 with plenty of power (193 combined HP) and features like available Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC) and a 10-speaker audio system. The 2017 Kia Optima Hybrid will also reduce emissions that can harm the environment, as does the 2017 Kia Optima Plug-In Hybrid.
- The 2017 Kia Optima Plug-In Hybrid will be on the lot in the final months of 2016, and it has a larger battery for increased all-electric capability, with 202 net HP, as well as the ability to get a full charge in less than three hours with a 240V (Level 2) charger and less than nine hours with a 120V (Level 1) charger.
Whichever one you choose, you can’t go wrong with their value, eco-friendly features and design.
